Operator Logistics
Purpose of the Role
As an Operator Logistics, you are an important part of our supply chain. You ensure that materials and products are in the right place at the right time and that our customers receive their orders on time and in the best quality. Through your work, you significantly support the production and delivery performance of the VAT Group.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, picking and preparing products for shipment
- Packing valves and components according to work and packaging instructions
- Loading and unloading trucks as well as internal material transports
- Operating forklifts and crane systems
- Recording goods movements with scanner and internal systems
- Conducting inventories
- Compliance with quality, safety, GOMPA and freight security requirements (BAZL)
- Participation in continuous improvements (CIP)
Qualifications
- Good German skills in spoken and written form, English is an advantage
- Driving licence category B
- Forklift licence is an advantage
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, shipping or production is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of PC, handheld scanner and mobile data systems
- Willingness to work shifts as well as occasional overtime or weekend work
- Physically resilient and in good health
- Reliable, careful and independent working style
- Teamwork, flexibility and quality awareness
- Impeccable character (police clearance required)
