Do you want to take on responsibility in the operational logistics environment and at the same time further develop your leadership experience? As Deputy Teamlead, you ensure a stable, safe and efficient daily operation together with the Teamlead. You continue to work actively in the operational business and take responsibility for processes, quality and employees. The role is performed in shift work from Monday to Friday between 05:00 and 23:00, as well as with regular Saturday shifts.Deputy Teamlead Warehousing & Goods Flow
What to expect
- Deputising for the Teamlead in organising and ensuring daily operations
- Active participation in operational daily business with a share of around 80%
- Coordination and scheduling of employees within the team as well as cross-departmentally with the control centre
- Professional guidance and support of employees in their daily work
- Taking on individual leadership tasks and employee discussions on behalf of the Teamlead
- Support in personnel and deployment planning as well as in the induction of new employees
- Ensuring quality, safety and process standards within the area of responsibility
- Checking the correct and timely recording of working hours of internal and temporary employees
- Active participation in optimising processes, workflows as well as material and information flows
What you bring with you
- Several years of professional experience in a production, warehouse or logistics environment
- Initial experience in professional leadership, coordination or guidance of employees is an advantage
- Enjoyment in working operationally while taking responsibility for the team and processes
- Willingness and flexibility for shift work from Monday to Friday between 05:00 and 23:00 as well as for regular Saturday shifts
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, at least at level B2
- Good user knowledge of MS Office
- Organisational talent and a structured, solution-oriented working style
- Clear and understandable communication as well as a confident appearance
- High sense of responsibility, reliability and pronounced initiative
- Assertiveness, teamwork skills and a credible role model function
