On-call Night Supervisor

About the job

At the Mettleneggen residential home, 25 residents with autism live and work. Most live together in groups of four. Three residents live in stacked studios. In addition to the night watch in the neighbouring house, an on-call night supervisor is present at night for these three residents.

To complement the on-call team, we are immediately seeking an on-call night supervisor for 2 – 3 nights per month.

Task:

• You will be present in the house during the night between 8:45 pm and 7:45 am. There is the possibility to sleep in the house. If there are sleep problems, residents can contact you via the intercom system.
• In case of greater unrest, you inform a day staff member or the department management, who will arrange for support.

• Nights are remunerated at CHF 112.- per night
• Monthly paid team meetings to clarify questions and concerns

Requirements:

• A specific professional qualification is not required
• Experience in caring for, supporting, or nursing people with disabilities or experience as a mother/father is highly desirable
• Willingness to work irregular shifts including weekends and public holidays
