Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing a project in a pro-active manner, ensuring contract execution and compliance with redelivered product, finding the right balance between customer satisfaction and the commercial performance of Defence related project.

You act as the main point of contact towards the customer for all project related aspects such as welcoming customer, aircraft induction, airframe, and cabin tasks execution, planning and scheduling, raising additional work requests (defect findings or initial scope changes), tracking financial performance (labor and material) releasing the AC to service and closing the Project. Moreover, you liaise between the customer and the Completion or MRO/RMU teams made of 145 Supervisors, engineering, hangar shops, production, SCM, billing, quality, and finance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review the initial work scope with the upfront preparation, planning and sales teams and take over ownership of the project
  • Confirm project work scope with the customer during the incoming meeting
  • Develop GANTT chart for project execution management
  • Open Work Order in SAP for raised defects and/or scope change to be addressed to the customer via Additional Work Requests (AWR)
  • Issue regular project financial status report and final invoice to customer
  • Track technical project progress and issue status report to the customer
  • Monitor project risk and identify mitigation strategies
  • Control the hours and material budget of the project and perform regular review with supervisor and cost center manager
  • Track payments and financial status of the project and manage the financial performance of the project
  • Coordinate all required paperwork and documentation for the release to service of the AC (Job cards, work report, logbook, etc.)
  • Manage customer disputes and escalate to the appropriate level as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with other relevant advanced degree preferred in aviation
  • Minimum 3-5 years in an equivalent Project Management role (preferably in aviation)
  • Project Management certificate (f.e. Prince, PMP, etc.)
  • Excellent English skills in verbal and written
  • Results driven – able to execute with high personal accountability
  • Customer focused
  • High business and financial acumen
  • Strong influencing skills, open mindset
  • Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
  • PC literate with MS packages

  • Two years’ related experience as a commercial driver strongly preferred
