Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Hold accountability for the overarching ECL strategy, ensuring all strategic business goals are translated into actionable business readiness and adoption plans.
• Ensure the connectedness of the local implementation and deployment teams (e.g., Business Implementation Squads) with overall ECL function and enable effectiveness by empowering them to drive readiness on the ground.
• Govern the stakeholder engagement plan, including the partnership with the Communications lead to develop and execute a unified, compelling narrative.
• Lead the activation and effectiveness of the global Change Agent Network, building and mobilizing a successful network of business champions to drive grassroots adoption.
• Oversee the global learning strategy and training curriculum, from needs analysis to the final design and delivery of all materials.
• Establish the measurement framework for adoption and business readiness, including the metrics and feedback channels required to measure success and proactively address resistance.
• Manage the strategic alignment with other Roche initiatives (e.g., FoM, HCX), ensuring all change and communication plans are aligned to provide a cohesive experience.
• Drive sustainable capability building by partnering with internal Centers of Excellence (e.g., enterprise learning) to embed new skills and processes within the business.
• Secure the integration with Deployment and Business Operations teams, ensuring all readiness, training, and communication activities are perfectly synchronized with go-live and "program-to-run" transition plans.
Must Haves:
• University Degree in Communications, Psychology, Business, or a related field. An MBA or other graduate-level degree is a plus.
• 7 years of experience in leading the people-side of large-scale, international business transformations, especially in a matrixed environment. A strong understanding of complex program management and the ability to manage dependencies in a fast-paced, large-scale deployment environment. *****
• Proven Experience of driving deployment of Veeva CRM and/or Adobe Marketing Automation *****
• 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology or a closely related, regulated industry. *****
• 3 years of direct people leadership or 10 years of matrix leadership of distributed teams (e.g., managing change networks or implementation squads) and a proven ability to lead and inspire both direct and matrixed teams, fostering a sense of shared purpose and empowering local champions to drive change. *****
• Extensive expertise in Change Management methodologies (e.g., Prosci) and a proven track record of designing and executing end-to-end change strategies especially for large-scale, global technology-enabled transformations
• Proven experience in Learning & Development, including needs analysis, curriculum design, and delivery of modern, blended learning programs for global audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Engagement plans for complex, global programs that build momentum, manage expectations, and inspire action.
• Deep Organizational Acumen, with a strong understanding of how global functions, regions, and affiliates operate and interact.
• Strong Program & Dependency Management skills, with the ability to integrate the ECL plan with a fast-paced deployment timeline.
• VACC mindset and an openness to Roche's new ways of working.
• Able to travel globally +10% of the time.
• English fluent is a MUST, other languages are a big PLUS (e.g. French, Spanish, Italian, German)
