The Family Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting breastfeeding and breastmilk. To complement our small, collaborative and ambitious team in Frauenfeld, we are looking for a committed, proactive, and flexible individual to support our research team on a 100% basis.
Your responsibilities
- Act as a project manager to monitor, coordinate, and co-lead research projects funded by the Foundation, ensuring scientific quality, timely progress, and effective collaboration with grantees and partners
- Further develop and maintain our internal scientific knowledge management system and research datasets
- Contribute to the development and ongoing updating of an information system for generating and evaluating global data related to the Foundation’s funding areas (health data, macro- and socio-economic indicators, systems analyses)
- Consolidate, review, and evaluate current scientific literature
- Support the Foundation's scientific communication by preparing and editing scientific reports, presentations, publications, and other scientific materials in German and English
- Summarize data in various formats including reports, tables, charts, and graphics
- Assist in preparing presentations and publications to disseminate research findings to scientific and technical audiences
- Support the team on matters related to human sciences and research methodology
- Participate in the evaluation of grant applications from a human sciences perspective
- Perform additional duties as requested by the team
Your profile
- Relevant degree in the life sciences (Bachelor’s or Master’s), e.g. biology, medicine, food science, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.
- Experience in research in the human sciences
- Experience and interest in scientific writing and communication is a plus
- Excellent Excel skills; strong MS Office skills; experience with programing is of advantage
- Motivation to familiarize yourself with the subject of breastfeeding and breastmilk
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
- Motivated, self-reliant, highly reliable, flexible, creative, and enthusiastic about supporting the implementation of programs in Switzerland and internationally
- You have the excellent interpersonal skills necessary to thrive in a small, ambitious team environment
