A total of around 120 people work at the headquarters in Muttenz near Basel and the subsidiaries in Beijing, Shanghai and Mumbai. Our many years of experience and in-depth know-how in process engineering, design, international project management and procurement have made us the world market leader in the field of caustic soda treatment and recycling. To support our team at our headquarters in Muttenz/BL we are looking for an Process Engineer Main Tasks
Process engineering and chemical design of plants with dimensioning of the corresponding machines and apparatus (e.g. calculation of heat exchangers, evaporators, reactors, columns)
Creation of energy and mass balances, PFD and P&I diagrams
Creation and adaptation of design programmes
Evaluation of operating data from commissioning and comparison with the design data
Further development of existing and definition of new processes
Participation in HAZOP studies, SIL analyses or technical meetings / as well as commissioning at customer sites if required
Developing solutions for chemical issues in connection with processes
Technological support for sales in the design of process systems
Your profile
You have a degree in process engineering or chemistry, specialising in plant and process engineering, as well as professional experience in a relevant field (preferably thermal processes)
You work independently, target-orientated and have a structured way of working.
You communicate easily in German and English, both written and spoken.
You have good computer skills (Excel, Addins, ASPEN, etc.).
Demanding tasks and challenges motivate you to find innovative solutions.
You have a pragmatic, innovative and flexible personality and enjoy working in a team.
