We are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our client's finance team. About the job:
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP and applicable accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT returns and support corporate tax filings.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Support regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain accounting controls and contribute to process improvements.
- Assist with financial analysis and management reporting.
- Support finance-related projects and other ad hoc tasks as required.
About the candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within an asset management firm, financial services company, or similar regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of Swiss accounting principles and VAT regulations.
- Experience preparing statutory financial statements and working with external auditors.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English and German is a mut have.
