For our client, an international pioneering technology company based in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated, proactive, and highly skilled Senior Applications & Solutions Engineer - Autonomous Manipulative Mobile Robots (AMMR).

Validation & Strategy: Define and drive the validation, verification, and technology readiness strategy for AMMR solutions, establishing KPIs, acceptance criteria, and deployment milestones from pilot to commercial scale.

Technical Success & Pilots: Own the technical success of AMMR pilots and early deployments by leading troubleshooting, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement activities.

Architecture & Engineering Standards: Develop and maintain reference architectures, solution templates, and engineering standards for AMMR applications across key market segments.

System Design: Translate customer requirements into scalable solution concepts, system specifications, and interface definitions to ensure feasibility, performance, safety, and repeatability.

Product Evolution: Drive the development of new applications and solution variants by providing structured feedback to Product Management and R&D, accelerating product maturity and adoption.

Stakeholder & Interface Management: Act as the primary technical interface between product development, internal regional engineering teams, and global customers to enable successful deployments through best practices, documentation, and training.

Leadership & Mentoring: Lead and mentor junior AMMR Application Engineers, promoting engineering excellence, standardization, and the reuse of validated solutions.

Academic Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Professional Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, industrial automation, autonomous systems, or complex electromechanical products.

Technical Expertise: Strong systems engineering mindset with proven experience integrating robotic systems, controls, software, safety systems, and industrial IT/OT environments.

Solution Architecture: Demonstrated ability to translate complex customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, including system architectures, interface definitions, and deployment concepts.

Project Execution: Proven track record supporting pilots, proof-of-concepts, and early product deployments, including system validation, technical troubleshooting, and performance assessment.

Collaboration & Leadership: Excellent ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary global teams (R&D, operations, product management) and provide technical leadership or mentoring.
- Communication & Flexibility: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with the flexibility and willingness to travel internationally up to 50% for deployment, testing, and commissioning activities.
