We are looking for a .NET Software Engineer with solid experience in data and database management who will also contribute to the development of our diagnostic software suite. This dual-focus role combines backend software engineering with deep involvement in data modeling, database performance, and integrity to help drive our products' efficiency and scalability.
Your Responsibilities
- You design, develop, and maintain features within our engine diagnostic software suite (fat client, web, mobile, backend services) using .NET technologies
- You architect and optimize relational database schemas, queries, and data pipelines that support software functionality and data analysis needs
- You write efficient, maintainable code in C# using modern .NET frameworks and development practices
- You ensure data reliability, scalability, and security within the platform, including synchronization and backup strategies
- You collaborate closely with subject matter experts and product teams to align software and data components with diagnostic and business objectives
- You participate in all stages of the software lifecycle: analysis, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- You produce high-quality documentation including data models, flowcharts, and technical specifications
Your Profile
- You have completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in software development, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design
- You have been working for at least 4 years in .NET development and have strong expertise in database design and optimization
- You have a deep knowledge of C#, design patterns, asynchronous programming, .NET architecture, and related technologies and methodologies. Experience with cloud platforms, Agile practices and DevOps culture is a plus
- You demonstrate experience with data-centric software design, including stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning, and database security
- You speak fluently English, as well as have a good knowledge of French or German
- You are known for your strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts
- You distinguish yourself with excellent analytical and modeling abilities, a customer-focused mindset, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
