Position overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced commercial professional to join our esteemed Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing robust relationships with our key business clients, with a special focus on our international beverage company clientele.

As the European Strategic Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining regular communication with clients, addressing their queries, and driving revenue growth through the promotion of innovative products and services. An ambitious objective of this role entails achieving the 3-year plan and the current year budget for the Strategic Account (SA), encompassing volume, revenue, and margin targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and update a 3 year Customer plan aligned with company and account strategies

• Coordinate and involve the relevant internal stakeholders in delivering value to the SA

• Manage Demand Planning, forecast accuracy and bias monitoring to improve performance

• Support and promote the provision of premium service including delivery of new products

• Engage nominated local sales representatives in servicing the account according to the 3 year plan and contractual terms

• Ensure the customer view and contacts are up to date in CRM

• Acts as a deputy SAM for another key customer of Vetropack

• Represent local key account managers of the business unit

• Work closely with other SAMs in Vetropack group to develop function and service to SAs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, master or MBA in commercial or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role with Key Accounts in the beverage industry / production / retail would be advantage.

• 7+ years of experience in Sales overall

• CRM experience is a preference.

• English level C1 minimum in spoken and written language

• Advanced skills: Microsoft Office Suite

• Travelling availbility up to 40%

Successful Candidate:

• Mature, autonomous personality, curious enough to investigate for bringing value to the SA

• Able to navigate the decision-making and operations in the organization to deliver agreements made with the customer on time, on budget and with minimal fuss.

• Able to make coherent, well-reasoned, value-adding strategies for the individual customer, clearly articulated and captured in a comprehensive plan,

• Have sufficient financial awareness to be able to understand and work with finance and accounting functions and senior management making major financial decisions.

• Particularly good communication skills, including vital listening skills.

• Great project management skills to deliver tailored, differentiated commitments

• Able to mobilise the supplier’s resources without direct line authority, through working with multi-disciplinary resources and identifying centres of influence and potential allies.
