Controller Supply Chain (maternity cover)

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Supply Chain Controller to join our Supply Chain Finance team based in Stabio, CH.

As part of the EMEA Supply Chain Finance team, you will collect and analyse both financial and Supply Chain information to support top management in effective decision-making.

You will be responsible for the preparation, development and analysis of Supply Chain costs and providing high-quality support to Supply Chain Finance Management and Supply Chain Operations teams.

The person is willing to enter in the Finance Supply Chain team and get knowledge around accounting, finance and controlling in addition to SAP-FMS of the fashion powerhouse - VF.

We expect that you will deliver unbeatable results whilst fulfilling the following aspects of the (job title) role (primary accountabilities):

  • Support the team in the month-end activities, quarter-end processes, yearly forecast and budget preparation;
  • Provide financial analysis and planning information around product cost, supply volumes and Price Purchase Variance;
  • Financial analysis and planning regarding Inbound Logistics, Freight and Duty expenses
  • Analyse and reconcile both Forecast and Actual variances vs cost targets;
  • Support Supply Chain metrics analysis;
  • Prepare Reports and Documentation for standard reporting surrounding inventory and margin variances;
  • Support set up of Standard cost and analysis of variances, evaluate when Standard costs are at risk;
  • Adapt and engage with creative attitude the roll-out of Supply Chain Projects.

Skills for Success

The ideal candidate is a post-secondary education (master or bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field), with good experience in business controlling, who has strong analytical mindset and skills such as managing relationship database.

Ideally with strong knowledge of computer systems (MS-Office suite) with emphasis on data relationship database (preferably MS-Access) and reporting tools.

You are precise, responsible, with a can-do attitude, proactive, able to build strong networking and work independently.
