WinGD is looking for a

Product Manager Retrofit

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the product's strategic plan in alignment with the organization's overall objectives, focusing on achieving financial targets according to the established plan.
  • Drive product growth by identifying market opportunities, enhancing product features, and optimizing pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, R&D, and operations to ensure seamless product development, launch, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, including product roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and product performance monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers, to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive product improvements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the product team to drive product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bsc or Msc in Mechanical engineering or Marine engineering with sound experience in engine building, service and/or design EMBA or MBA with emphasis to strategic and business planning.
  • Business-oriented thinking (strategic thinking, including all financial aspects)
  • Experience from international company in manufacturing and/or maritime business (develop strategy for retrofit solution package considering the wide marine environment and financial influences)
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations (self-education and information gathering with is connected to the retrofit business solutions)
  • Ability to establish relations with key customers (discussions with all stake holders internal and external (Yards, ship owners and engine builders)
  • Readiness to travel (10 – 15%)
  • Leadership / managerial skills (lead internal people through in the Matrix organisation to achieve required results)
  • Problem solving skills (remain flexible and adapt to the market situation and requirements)
  • Interpersonal skills (open and clear communication to internal and external stakeholders)
  • Self Management (strategy preparation according to required given time frame)
  • Communication skills (sound business communication skills, considering internal confidential information)
  • Teamwork skills (bring people together reaching the required result as a team)
  • Cultural sensitivity (able to work together with worldwide partners and internal local centres)
