DIR SALES (West Coast, US remote)

JOB OVERVIEW

LOCATION: San Francisco Bay Area/West coast, US remote

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.

TE Connectivity seeks an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our strategic sales initiatives within the AI semiconductor sectors. This individual will be pivotal in driving business growth and enhancing our partnerships within our key accounts.

TASKS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute strategic plans to manage and grow key accounts in the silicon ecosystems. Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships. Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and expand market share.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and expand a team of technical sales professionals. Set clear team goals and deliverables, provide training, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities. Adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge and anticipate customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business needs and technical requirements. Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through superior service and support.
  • Revenue Targets: Achieve and exceed annual sales targets within assigned territories and accounts. Develop a robust sales pipeline, forecast sales, and track key account metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and effective sales strategy.

PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Prior experience in semiconductor, electronics, or related industries.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Experience in leading and managing large customer accounts and sales teams.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $165,360– 248,040 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
