Head of Human Resources Switzerland

How you spend your time:
  • Accountable for the entire strategic and operational HR activities for Switzerland (scope: around 300 employees and 4 direct reports). This means that you will be responsible for the entire HR lifecycle, including payroll, time management.
  • Work in close relationship with the global Human Resources team to ensure the rollout of the global HR roadmap (digitalisation projects, global process harmonisation,...). You contribute to build a truly HR consulting and business partnering environment. You strive for continuous improvements and harmonisation opportunities.
  • Act as business partner for the management team for any HR-related topics.
  • Support and manage the local HR team in its daily activities:
    • Coordinate all key HR activities following the employee lifecycle
    • Provide the necessary support to the local HR team whenever needed
    • Establish think-out-the-box mindset and solution-oriented environment
What you bring to the position:
  • Provide consultancy and methodology to any issue that is brought to your attention.
  • Show an appetite for systems and tools, like to make reports and put rationales to figures.
  • Like to influence others´ point of view at all levels of the organisation.
  • Have gained experience in the field of HR consulting and have a passion for HR systems and digitalisation.
  • Appreciate to work in a matrix organisation; you have a positive can-do attitude and enjoy spending time with both global and local HR teams.
  • Open to business travels from time to time and enjoy a truly diverse and international working environment.
This is what you can look forward to:
  • Work in an agile and small HR team reporting to the Head of HR Europe (located in Germany).
  • Be part of our global corporate leadership team as well as the European and global HR community, closely working with other countries like Germany and Czech Republic but also with regions like Middle East, China and/or Asia Pacific.
  • Have a direct impact to our approved changes; our environment encourages short decision-making processes and shows flat hierarchies.
  • The office location will be Altdorf (Switzerland); however, you can regularly work from home/mobile.
