You can expect a varied and exciting environment for working on the construction site, in the office and with the option of working from home. As a team player, you will work closely with the entire project team and be responsible for the commercial aspects of our construction projects.
Your tasks:
Responsibility for the commercial handling of construction projects in the field of high-quality interior fit-out from the bid phase through the preparation, realisation and completion phases
Operational accounting with a focus on cost and performance calculation (KLR Bau)
Implementation of project contracts, and addendum management
Evaluation of contract terms and service descriptions in the bidding phase
Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor offers from and making recommendations to project management
Conducting contract award negotiations
Drawing up and processing subcontractor and supplier contracts in coordination with project management
Liquidity planning and cashflow management
Internal reporting regarding the overall budget, as well as regular target/actual comparisons of the project budget
Preparation of outgoing invoices
Checking incoming invoices from subcontractors in collaboration with the accounting department
Planning, preparation and negotiation of payment plans
Guarantee and insurance management
Settlement of insurance claims
Involvement in business development / developing relationships with key clients and planning teams
What you bring with you:
Completed commercial training/qualification or similar
Ideally completed university education as a business economist, Quantity Surveying or comparable
At least 8 years of professional experience in the construction industry and in the commercial handling of projects
Experience in construction estimation
Good subcontractor network is an advantage
Very good knowledge of SIA and Swiss construction law
Entrepreneurial mindset
Strong communication skills, negotiating skills and strong customer orientation
Team-orientated personality with a structured and detail-oriented way of working
Confident knowledge of MS Office applications
Business fluent in German
Good knowledge of Provis software is an advantage
Good written and spoken English skills
