Senior Manager/ Director Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

Join our Life Sciences Advisory practice and contribute to building PwC Switzerland's Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) advisory offering. You will shape an international, collaborative environment driving digital transformation in the manufacturing area, specifically in regulated environments.

• Lead and deliver high-impact MES engagements, advice on recipe authoring best practices and consult on optimizations across clinical and commercial operations.
• Develop and grow the MES consulting portfolio, including market positioning, go-to-market strategies, and client acquisition.
• Shape PwC's thought leadership in MES through publications, client workshops, and external events.
• Manage complex programs end-to-end, ensuring regulatory compliance (GMP, FDA, EMA), technical excellence, and global best practices.
• Build and lead a high-performing MES team in Switzerland, fostering internal capability through coaching, methodologies, and knowledge sharing, especially in the Recipe Authoring space.

• Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Biotechnology or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the Life Sciences sector, including 6+ years in consulting and strong leadership track record.
• Deep expertise in MES systems (preferably Rockwell PharmaSuite, Siemens Opcenter, PAS-X or comparable), recipe authoring, testing, optimization, and MES–SCADA/PLC or ERP integration.
• Thorough understanding of Drug Product / Drug Substance manufacturing and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated skills in business development, client relationship management, and engaging with C-level stakeholders.
• Excellent command of English; German and/or French proficiency advantageous.
