We are looking for an experienced Java/JEE Software Engineer to strengthen our team working onsite with one of our strategic partners in Bern.

 

Tasks:

• Development of Java applications across all layers (persistence, service, GUI)


• Independent completion of user stories including any necessary business analysis and testing.


• Team member of a Kanban-controlled agile DevOps team

 

Your Profile

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java/JEE


• Knowledge of: Spring, Hibernate, JPA, JUnit, Maven, Git, SQL (PostgreSQL), Angular


• Big Data and Spark/Scala knowledge (Big Nice To Have)


• Agile


• Performance Optimization


• Test-driven development know-how


• High-quality independent work ethic


• Excellent analytical skills


• Very communicative


• B1 German Language level both written and spoken

 

Work location: Bern and Remote
