Senior IT Solution Architect – Finance Systems & Processes
Your tasks
Lead the design and continuous improvement of finance IT architecture with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and related systems
Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders in Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Financial Services, Non-financial Reporting, and Travel Management from an architectural perspective
Ensure sustainable, efficient architecture aligned with enterprise guidelines, including maintaining technical documentation and coordinating with fellow architects
Develop comprehensive solution concepts, gather requirements, and translate them into system and program specifications
Independently customize SAP S/4HANA FI/CO modules to meet evolving business needs
Manage and oversee development efforts by internal teams and external partners, including conducting quality assurance and testing
Support global rollouts of process and system standards, including delivering user training sessions
Provide expert-level system support (third-level) for users worldwide, ensuring high-quality service and issue resolution
Your profile
Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years professional experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role within finance IT architecture
Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA FI/CO environments; knowledge of other financial applications is an advantage
Practical ABAP programming skills
Solid understanding of finance-related business processes and workflows
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus
