Introduction
Unilabs is the largest provider of medical laboratory diagnostics for prescribers and hospitals in Switzerland and employs around 800 people.
Your Tasks
▫ Develop and implement a data & analytics strategy aligned with Unilabs' business transformation goals.
▫ Lead the design, implementation, and management of data analytics platforms and tools.
▫ Define and establish data governance, quality, and security frameworks in compliance with regulatory
requirements.
▫ Work closely with IT, business stakeholders, and lab operations to unlock value from data, improving
efficiency and customer satisfaction.
▫ Oversee data integration and interoperability between various systems, including LIS (Laboratory
Information Systems), CRM, ERP, and external partner integrations.
▫ Create dashboards, reports, and advanced analytics models to provide actionable insights to
leadership, operational teams, and customer-facing units.
▫ Drive the adoption of self-service analytics across the organization.
▫ Support AI/ML initiatives, ensuring models are trained on high-quality data and provide real business
impact.
▫ Lead a small team of analysts & developers (if applicable) and collaborate with cross-functional teams
to foster a data-driven culture.
▫ Act as the subject matter expert on data & analytics best practices, helping to upskill teams and drive
transformation.
Your Profile
Education & Experience:
▫ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related
field.
▫ 5+ years of experience in a data & analytics leadership or expert role, ideally in a healthcare, diagnostics,
or life sciences environment.
▫ Strong background in data science, statistical modeling, and AI/ML applications.

Technical Skills:
▫ Strong experience with SQL and Power BI.
▫ Hands-on expertise in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
▫ Experience with data warehouses, ETL processes, and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure,
Google Cloud).
▫ Familiarity with big data technologies and AI/ML concepts is a plus.
▫ Understanding of data privacy and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.).
Industry Experience:
▫ Preferred background in Health & Life Sciences, diagnostics, or related fields.
▫ Business & Leadership Skills:
▫ Ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
▫ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
▫ Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical
audiences.
▫ Experience leading or mentoring data professionals is an advantage.

✓ Vendor & Outsourcing Management: Ability to manage and optimize contracts with vendors like
Cancom and others.
✓ Project Management: Experience leading IT projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
✓ Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of RIS, PACS and related radiology IT systems.
✓ Business Engagement: Ability to interact with radiology stakeholders to understand business needs
and drive IT improvements.
✓ Process Improvement: Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and system
performance.
✓ Leadership & Communication: Ability to engage with Business teams, translating IT strategy into
business value.
✓ Strategic Thinking: Ensuring IT services contribute to Unilabs’ long-term growth and transformation
