Location: Zug (CH) | Employment: 70–100% | Start Date: Immediately or by arrangement
About Us: Where Technology Meets Law
We are a dynamic service provider operating at the intersection of IT consulting, marketing, and game/design development within the iGaming industry. In an industry that reinvents itself every day, we support complex international projects from the initial idea to global rollout. As our network knows no borders – with a strong focus on international and Eastern European markets – we are looking for a legal professional who can lead technological innovations to success with legal certainty.
Your Responsibilities: Legal Architecture in the iGaming World
As the internal point of contact for all legal aspects of our operational units, you will take on the following responsibilities:
- Global Contract Strategy & Negotiations: Independently owning and driving the full lifecycle of complex international commercial agreements, including structuring, drafting, and leading high-stakes negotiations with partners, vendors, and publishers in German, English, Ukrainian, and Russian, ensuring legally robust and commercially optimized outcomes across multiple jurisdictions.
- IP, Technology & iGaming Legal Oversight: Taking full responsibility for the protection, enforcement, and strategic development of the company’s intellectual property portfolio (copyright, trademarks, and design rights) and providing senior-level legal guidance on regulatory, licensing, and risk matters related to game development, digital products, and iGaming operations.
- Dispute Resolution & Cross-Border: Enforcement: Managing complex national and international disputes end-to-end, coordinating external counsel across jurisdictions, negotiating settlements, and proactively protecting the company’s financial and operational interests.
- Regulatory, Data Protection & Compliance: Governance: Designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level GDPR and international compliance frameworks for IT, marketing, and iGaming activities, while advising senior management on regulatory exposure, risk mitigation, and governance strategy.
- Corporate Structuring & Legal Governance: Leading the design, optimization, and implementation of international corporate structures, ensuring full legal coverage of business operations, governance frameworks, and regulatory alignment across all entities.
Your Profile: Expertise for the Digital Age
We are looking for a professional with legal depth, high loyalty, and a strong technical understanding:
- Master’s degree in law or international law
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in international commercial law, preferably within iGaming, IT, technology, or digital product environments
- Demonstrated experience working directly with iGaming regulators, including regulatory communication, licensing processes, and ongoing compliance management
- Extensive practical experience drafting, reviewing, and structuring commercial agreements, including software licensing, SaaS, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and partnership contracts
- Strong expertise in intellectual property protection, licensing, and enforcement related to software, digital content, and game development
- Established network (or demonstrable access) to a pool of trusted legal and regulatory advisors across the top 5 key iGaming jurisdictions, with proven hands-on experience in company incorporation and obtaining gaming licenses in those jurisdictions
- Strong commercial mindset combined with high attention to detail and negotiation skills
- Mandatory professional working proficiency in English, Ukrainian and Russian, including the ability to conduct negotiations and draft legal documentation in all languages.
Why Join Us?
- Exciting Portfolio: From high-end IT solutions to creative game development – your work is as diverse as our projects
- Future-Oriented: Work in an environment that operates at the cutting edge of technology
- Flat Hierarchies: Short decision-making paths, an open communication culture, and plenty of room for initiative
- Flexibility: Modern working conditions in Zug that support a healthy work-life balance and hybrid work options.
