McDonald's, the world's largest restaurant chain, is an innovative and people-oriented company backed by a leading multinational brand. Currently, there are 184 McDonald's restaurants in Switzerland, run by 41 independent entrepreneurs (franchisees).
Because our business is growing fast, we are looking for talented people to strengthen our main offices that provide support to all restaurants. To complement its Marketing department based in Crissier, McDonald's Switzerland is looking to fill the role of:
McDelivery Lead (100%)
You will help drive and future-proof the McDelivery strategy across Switzerland by improving performance and experiences for restaurants, customers, and couriers. The role focuses on building balanced, sustainable partnerships with 3POs, exploring new collaborations, and strengthening systems and processes. You will connect national strategy with field execution through expertise, problem-solving, and close stakeholder collaboration, with some travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop and implement the McDelivery strategy.
- Identify restaurant priorities to expand and strengthen the delivery business.
- Define sales targets for all channels in close partnership with the Business Insights team.
- Act as the main coordination point between internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Delivery, sharing expertise with the Field Service team and restaurant
- operators.
- Advise Owner/Operators on improving operational performance for McDelivery.
- Develop and implement best practices and ongoing resources to support restaurant operations.
- Partner with aggregators to ensure an exceptional guest experience throughout the delivery process,
- focusing on:
- Order accuracy and completeness, including handling refunds.
- Building strong relationships with delivery couriers.
- Driving continuous process improvements.
What You Need to be Successful:
- University degree required; MBA preferred
- Strong proficiency with technology and digital tools
- Solid understanding of the marketing landscape
- Experience in franchisee management, including storytelling and crucial conversations
- Strong collaborator able to build effective partnerships with O/O, Marketing, Business Insights, 3POs, and Field Service
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
