MATERIAL PLANNER
AliveDx is a commercial-stage diagnostics company advancing blood grouping and donor disease screening solutions for safer transfusions worldwide. We are looking for a Material Planner to join the Supply Chain Team based in Eysins, Switzerland. The role is a full permanent position working flexible working hours.
YOUR MISSION
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Material Planner will be responsible for managing the procurement of material from all suppliers in order to achieve the required quality, cost and on time delivery standards for all stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Operations and Material Planning:
- Work with manufacturing team to understand forecasts, identify and formalize production needs in materials demand plan
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish optimal replenishment plans for supplies continuity
- Review and monitor updates of purchasable items base to ensure replenishment parameters MoQ, FLM, lead time, Min-MAX stock stup are up to dates
- Track orders and ensure continuous accuracy of orders information (orders status, quantities, delivery dates, and pricing).
- Ensure parts & materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production.
- Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts, report non-conformances.
- Support as needed the P2P process
Master Data Management and MRP tool improvement:
- Work with the Buyers and leverage data to improve Oracle database (MOQ, FLM, Leadtime, Min-Max…)
- Take over Excel MRP tool ownership and support deployment in the Procurement team
- Participate actively to the development of MosaiQ™ ERP Purchasing module
- Develop purchasing MosaiQ™ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Occasional Sourcing:
- Identify new MosaiQ™ suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates.
- Drive new suppliers and alternative solutions implementation in QMS and ERP (Change Controls and ERP Creation forms management)
- Work with R&D and other stakeholders to understand their needs and identify efficiencies
- Understand the industry to identify potential new suppliers in the spirit of dual sourcing / risk mitigation and efficiency generation
YOUR COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Business Administration, with comprehensive knowledge and experience in raw material procurement.
- High competency in Excel and Power BI
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Experience in pharma, biotech, IVD or medical devices would be a plus
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills at different levels, able to communicate clearly and concisely, facilitating efficient partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Occasional travel may be required as needed.
