The Senior Client Advisor, Trust and Fiduciary Services operates as a member of the international trust and fiduciary team, providing strategic oversight and expert guidance in managing high-net-worth client portfolios from the Zurich office.

 

This role demands a sophisticated understanding of trust and fiduciary services, as well as the ability to navigate and manage complex legal and financial structures across various jurisdictions.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Primary point contact: Act as the strategic advisor and primary point of contact for high net-worth individuals, families, and institutional clients, offering bespoke solutions tailored to their complex financial needs.

2. Client and Partner Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners globally through regular interactions and proactive service.

3. Complex Case Management: Handle the setup, management, and oversight of legal and financial structures, including discretionary trusts, estates, and holding companies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

4. Meeting Execution and Strategic Planning

5. Operational and Financial Oversight: Oversee significant banking and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial dealings including investment management and estate planning.

6. Revenue and Fee Management: Ensure accurate tracking, recording, and invoicing of fees related to advisory and administrative services, optimizing revenue streams.

7. Regulatory Compliance and Due Diligence

8. Governance and Corporate Leadership: Hold positions on boards of the trustee-licensed companies as well as on boards within client entities, providing governance and strategic direction. 9. Knowledge Sharing and Expertise Development: Actively participate in, contribute to the Trust Competence Center by providing, and further developing best practices to enhance service delivery.

10. Team leadership: Provide (expert) leadership and coaching to a team of Trust Managers and/or Trust Officers involved in managing and administering the client's structures.

Professional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution, with a focus on delivering tailored trust solutions.
  • Experience in handling the the setup, management, and oversight of legal and financial structures, including discretionary trusts, estates, and holding companies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Advanced Certifications: Advanced certifications in financial planning, estate planning, or related fields are highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing cross-border financial and legal issues, with sensitivity to cultural nuances.
  •  Language skills: English OR German Native level
