This works well in the company
Unfortunately, there are currently no positive aspects to highlight regarding the Bern Lung League.
This could be improved
Working conditions at the Bern Lung League appear well-organized from the outside, but internally, the picture is quite different. The management culture is particularly problematic. Decisions are often made in an unclear manner, at short notice, and without sufficient expertise. At the same time, certain managers come across as both arrogant and overwhelmed by organizational demands, which has a direct impact on work processes and team morale. The workload is very high and constantly felt. Employees are under considerable pressure, while staffing shortages appear to be managed rather than resolved. The result is burnout, declining motivation, and a noticeably tense atmosphere in day-to-day work. Support or sustainable relief seems to be limited. The high turnover rate is also striking. Many employees leave the organization after a relatively short time, resulting in the loss of valuable knowledge and placing an additional burden on the remaining teams. Dissatisfaction among the workforce is clearly evident and is further exacerbated by a lack of communication and a lack of appreciation. Anyone seeking a stable, professionally managed, and long-term motivating work environment is likely to be disappointed here.

What's going well at the company? There's hot coffee, and the office chairs are comfortable.
This could be improved
In my opinion, the entire application process was handled very unprofessionally. I have serious doubts about the HR department’s professional competence. I also believe that the supervisors are overwhelmed and not up to the task. Honesty and openness leave much to be desired. The immense pressure to cut costs is clearly felt throughout the company. I also find the high turnover and the way employees are treated to be very concerning.
