This works well in the company
The coffee maker: when it's filled and working.
This could be improved
The operations of the OdA Health and Social Services Foundation of the Canton of Solothurn exhibit serious structural weaknesses that significantly impair the stability and quality of its training programs. During critical phases, operational management fails to set clear priorities and does not provide sufficient leadership, leading to delays, uncertainty, and avoidable pressure. Although responsibility is delegated, it is done so without adequate support, clear guidance, or consistent feedback. This results in operational risks, unnecessary strain, and situations in which problems only become apparent once they have already had an impact. Communication processes are unreliable, often too last-minute, and sometimes incomplete. These structural gaps lead to time pressure, improvisation, and an increased likelihood of errors. Cross-departmental coordination is inadequate. Decisions are not consistently coordinated, which causes duplication of effort, inefficient processes, and operational bottlenecks. During periods of high workload, there is a lack of clear prioritization. Tasks are demanded simultaneously, without regard for resources or feasibility. This compromises the quality of training and places an unnecessary burden on employees. These structural shortcomings jeopardize efficiency, operational safety, and the professional delivery of training programs. Consistent organizational development is absolutely essential to ensure the long-term stability and quality of operations.
