We are currently recruiting for the role of

The role will be based in Zug (Switzerland) and is reporting to the IT Services Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support and administration expertise to Scenic employees.

• Install, configure, integrate, manage, and maintain servers, devices, and firewalls in the scenic technical landscape.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues of varying difficulty.

• Handle technical escalations/complex issue resolution across a range of technologies. Leverage escalations and complex issues as an opportunity to mentor fellow staff.

• Provide technical expertise and design in cloud (MS Exchange, Azure and SQL) infrastructure planning, migration, and implementation.

• Maintain a number of facets of the network infrastructure globally, including improvements and upgrades where required or desired.

• Administer critical systems and functions including but not limited to; Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DFS, M365 Suite, Exchange, SQL, Microsoft Azure.

• Monitor the performance of servers, software, and hardware. Provide improvements and progression based on reporting/monitoring.

• Active participation as required in projects, change management, and training relating to new technology implementations.

• Provide technical documentation for various audiences such as training material, technical documentation, as built documentation, process/procedure documentation.

• Liaise with vendors and external support.

• Work effectively as both a Team member and a mentor where required.

• Ensure effective communication with different target audiences.

• Engage with departments for process improvements leveraging technology supported by the technical services team.

• Effectively manage and prioritise tasks and workloads based on deadlines and business priorities, ensuring time is tracked and documented.

• Understand and address concerns on behalf of various departments when providing technical solutions to the business (holistic solutions).

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows environments (including but not limited to; Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DFS, M365 Suite, Exchange, SQL, Microsoft Azure)

• Excellent communication & presentation

• Experience providing professional face to face and remote support

• Excellent English is a must plus fluent in german a plus

• Strong documentation & Administration skills

• PowerShell / admin scripting experience

• Understand Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery methodologies and design.

• Flexibility including out of hours work involving global conference calls as required

• Industry certifications a plus

• Cruise Industry experience a plus
