Your role

You are responsible for the professional, economical, sustainable and compliant procurement of investment and operating goods. In doing so, you develop category strategies, conduct demanding tenders according to public procurement law and accompany contract and supplementary negotiations until completion.

In close cooperation with engineering, project management and specialist departments, you develop market-compliant and resource-conserving solutions. With your contribution, you strengthen the security of supply and competitiveness of our company and actively shape the digital further development of purchasing.

What you can achieve with us

• Development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of demand-oriented and sustainable category strategies
• Planning and execution of complex public procurement procedures
• Preparation of tender documents and evaluation matrices as well as conducting bid evaluations
• Conducting negotiations and concluding work, supply, EPC and framework contracts
• Integration of ecological, social and economic criteria as well as conducting TCO analyses
• Building, qualifying and further developing strategic supplier relationships including risk monitoring
• Preparation of procurement and savings reports as well as further development of digital purchasing processes

Your qualities as a professional and person

• University of applied sciences degree in industrial engineering, business administration, engineering or a related field; and/or comparable educational paths with relevant further training in purchasing
• Several years of experience in strategic and operational purchasing of technical goods and services, preferably in an industrial environment
• Solid practical experience with public procurement procedures
• Strong technical understanding as well as experience in purchasing for investment projects
• Good user knowledge of SAP MM and Microsoft Office as well as experience in project management
• Independent, solution-oriented and responsible personality with negotiation skills, assertiveness and high team and customer orientation
• Your workplace is Schweizerhalle. You bring a willingness to travel of up to 10% for your activity.
