Your tasks

• As a technical buyer, you are responsible for the procurement of technical components and production parts – from supplier selection through enquiries and offer comparisons to price negotiations and supplier approvals
• You conduct price and contract negotiations independently and confidently with national and international suppliers
• You continuously monitor and optimise supply chains, ensuring high material availability
• With your focus on the essentials, you actively contribute to the sustainable optimisation of costs and inventory levels
• As a central contact person, you support internal and external stakeholders with all questions related to purchasing
• You reliably maintain and manage purchasing master data in SAP
• You actively develop our supplier network, consistently implement the defined procurement strategy and contribute your own ideas for further development
• You actively participate in procurement projects as well as in new developments and product changes, supporting the involved departments

Your profile

• You have a technical basic education and several years of professional experience in a comparable role; further training in procurement and mechanical engineering experience are advantageous
• You communicate fluently in German and English – both orally and in writing
• You work confidently with the MS Office suite and ideally have experience with the relevant SAP modules
• You convince through your commitment, resilience and high sense of responsibility and actively contribute to successful teamwork
• With your hands-on mentality, you tackle topics proactively and act goal- and success-oriented with an entrepreneurial eye for the essentials
