Your tasks – legally demanding, socially relevant and versatile
- Conducting legal clarifications and research as well as reviewing decrees, draft laws and ordinances and other matters with regard to disability rights
- Preparing legal opinions, decision-making bases and other demanding specialist texts
- Supporting the development and implementation of legal bases and instruments in the field of disability rights
- Advising and providing professional support to departments of the cantonal administration and municipalities as well as to external institutions and organisations
- Leading or participating in projects and working groups – with scope for design and professional responsibility
- Preparing foundations, concepts and reports as well as processing legal and professional developments
- Providing brief advice and triage for enquiries from the public
Your profile – legally proficient, strong in communication and committed
- Completed Master’s degree in Law
- Expert knowledge in the field of disability rights or a strong professional/personal connection to this subject area
- Skills and ideally experience in project management
- Understanding of public administration and enjoyment of working in a political environment
- Confident and engaging manner as well as the ability to act confidently even in demanding situations
- Conflict and assertiveness skills – combined with a constructive and solution-oriented approach
- High oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility, versatility and interest in various professional and legal issues

Disability Rights Office
The Disability Rights Office commenced operations in July 2024. It is the cantonal competence centre for disability rights.
The team advises and supports the government, the administration and other institutions in the implementation of disability rights.
