The SVA BL is the competence centre for social insurances in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. As an independent public-law enterprise, it fulfils a legal mandate and contributes to social security for the population and the economy of the canton.

For the Department of Cantonal Tasks Compensation Office, we are looking for a motivated individual as

Clerk for Supplementary Benefits for Medical Expenses with Special Tasks (80 - 100 %)

What you will achieve

• You examine applications for reimbursement of medical and disability costs and issue decisions
• You take on special tasks and reconstruct complex case situations
• You assume professional responsibility for selected subject areas and ensure their continuous development
• You actively participate in professional exchanges, constructively question existing procedures and contribute to the optimisation and further development of professional practice
• You process objections and remission requests
• You provide information in written or telephone form and advise our customers personally on site
• You maintain regular contact with dental practices, offices and authorities
• You support the implementation of new functional adjustments

What you bring

• Commercial basic training
• Experience in benefits accounting, ideally in social insurance
• Further training in social insurance or willingness to proactively acquire missing knowledge
• Ability to quickly grasp complex contexts and explain them clearly
• Strong IT affinity and technical understanding
• Independent and efficient working style
• Personal responsibility and team orientation
• Professional and friendly demeanour, even in hectic situations
