DON’T JUST TINKER ANYWHERE. TINKER AT THE AIRPORT.To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
MECHANIC FOR SPECIAL VEHICLES (M/F/D) WORKLOAD | 80-100% LOCATION | ZURICH AIRPORT
Agricultural Machinery | Construction Machinery | Commercial Vehicles | Vehicle Technology
YOU KNOW MECHANICS. WE TEACH YOU THE AIRPORT.
Pushback tractors that move aircraft. Highloaders, baggage tractors, passenger stairs and special vehicles you won’t find in a normal workshop.
This is exactly what you will work on with us – right in the middle of Zurich Airport.
This is what you will handle with us:
- You maintain, repair and overhaul our special vehicles – from pushback tractors to baggage tractors to highloaders.
- You detect faults in mechanics, hydraulics, electrics and electronics and find solutions even for tricky cases.
- Technical modifications and adjustments are just as much part of your work as searching for new, better solutions.
- Your know-how and ideas are in demand – you don’t just complete orders.
- With your work, you ensure that our vehicles are reliably ready for use and that flight operations run smoothly.
This is what you bring with you:
- You have training as an agricultural machinery, construction machinery, commercial vehicle or vehicle mechanic – or bring solid experience as a technical all-rounder.
- You are familiar with electrics and/or hydraulics or are eager to expand your knowledge in these areas.
- Independent, reliable work and a high standard of quality are natural for you.
- Even when it gets technically challenging, you persevere, think along and find a solution.
- German in everyday work as well as shift work between 06:00 and 23:30, including weekends, suit you.
This is what you can look forward to:
- You work with technology that not everyone knows – on an extraordinary vehicle fleet instead of in a run-of-the-mill workshop.
- You benefit from a 39-hour week and 5 weeks’ holiday.
- With the attractive flight discounts of our airline partners, you are well equipped for private travel too.
- You receive discounts on public transport, insurance and various partner offers.
- You develop professionally – around special vehicles, electrification, hydraulics and electronics – and work in an international environment directly at Zurich Airport.
Never worked on a pushback tractor before? No problem.
You bring the technical understanding. We teach you the airport.
Sounds better than your current workshop routine? Then we should get to know each other.
