IT Operations Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner is an established IT service company in the field of Managed Cloud & Outsourcing Services. They operate several hundred servers in their own data centres and offer state-of-the-art IT service solutions in the areas of storage, backup, networking, archiving, security, etc.
The implementation of IT projects with subsequent operation and maintenance requires profound expertise, extensive experience, process mastery, creativity, and absolute reliability. The demanding clientele of our partner expects innovative IT services and solutions with the highest availability and security.
Role:
You take on a central position in which you manage your own customer portfolio and actively further develop their environments. You ensure that requirements result in sustainable solutions. In this role as System Engineer Operations, you sustainably develop IT environments and ensure they are stable and efficient. You are responsible for supporting your customers and further developing their IT environments. You are an important part of the process to find sustainable solutions for complex requirements.
Responsibilities:
- You take on the main technical responsibility for assigned customers
- In this role, you comprehensively support and continuously develop IT environments
- As a System Engineer Operations, you work closely with Engineering and Service Management
- You analyse, prioritise, and sustainably resolve incidents, requests, and changes
- In this role, you ensure high service quality and stable customer environments
- You identify optimisation potentials in customer environments and processes
Qualifications:
- You have training in the field of computer science, especially in system technology or platform development.
- You bring several years of experience in IT operations or system engineering environments.
- You have profound knowledge of Microsoft technologies, such as M365 and Azure, as well as infrastructure.
- You have experience in troubleshooting and dealing with complex system landscapes.
- You have initial experience in automation, standardisation, and new technologies such as artificial intelligence.
- You think customer-oriented and communicate clearly and precisely.
