The Park-Hotel am Rhein combines classic hospitality and gastronomy with a special environment of hotel, private clinic and residences. With 35 hotel rooms, 35 clinic beds and 30 residences, our restaurants Bellerive, Park-Café and the patient restaurant Pavillon as well as banquets, we offer our patients, guests and residents a diverse gastronomy.
Together with Reha Rheinfelden and the Salina Rehabilitation Clinic, we belong to the Reha Rheinfelden Group, an organisation with around 1,000 employees.

For our service team, we are looking for a committed personality who enjoys taking responsibility, leading people and takes pleasure in training the next generation of restaurant professionals.

What to expect

• You will support our apprentices professionally and personally throughout their training, impart enthusiasm for the profession and ensure that theory and practice are meaningfully linked in everyday work. You plan and coordinate the in-company training, define learning objectives, monitor learning progress and conduct regular training and feedback discussions
• Together with the team, you ensure a warm, professional and high-quality service
• You lead, motivate and develop our service staff in daily work
• To ensure smooth service processes, you coordinate the service and take responsibility for a well-functioning operation
• With a strong guest orientation, you competently advise and care for our guests
• You organise and accompany banquets, events and special occasions
• Handling personal and telephone reservations is also part of your duties
• If necessary, you manage your own station and actively support the team in daily business
• You ensure compliance with our quality, hygiene and service standards

What you bring

• Completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist EFZ or a comparable qualification
• Solid professional experience in gastronomy or hospitality
• Leadership experience in a comparable position
• Trainer course or willingness to complete it
• Good knowledge of the Swiss vocational training system and training in restaurant professions
• Joy and genuine interest in supporting and developing young people
• Very good professional knowledge as well as good wine and beverage knowledge
• Personality with confident, well-groomed and engaging appearance as well as strong guest orientation
• Organisational strength, sense of responsibility and team spirit
• Very good German skills; additional foreign languages are an advantage
