Tasks

• Conducting optical/optometric examinations and vision tests (subjective refraction)
• Assisting in the consultation hours to support ophthalmologists with diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• Maintenance and servicing of optical devices
• Administrative tasks related to patient records and appointment scheduling
• Assisting at reception and on the telephone, practice assistance
• If suitable and interested, working in the day clinic

Qualifications

• Completed training as an optician or degree in optometry
• Proficiency in subjective refraction or motivation to learn it
• Experience in customer consultation and handling optical devices
• Friendly and professional demeanour
• Team spirit and initiative
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
• Flexibility and willingness to continue education
