Associate Consumables Analytics Specialist (80- 100%)

Your contribution

In this important and dynamic role, you will play a key part in driving continuous improvement of our MRP and IBP processes, ensuring they align with Tecan's group-wide transformation initiatives. As the main point of contact for S/4HANA transition activities within the Consumables team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders to develop and deliver insightful analytics and reports that support decision-making across the Global Consumables Team. Your expertise will help identify and implement supply chain improvements, enhancing our responsiveness, service levels, and cost efficiency. By leveraging your analytical skills and passion for process optimization, you will contribute directly to the ongoing success and innovation of Tecan's consumables operations.

Responsibilities

• Support and represent Consumables in SAP initiatives (e.g., SAP IBP, S/4HANA).
• Collaborate with the Global Consumables Team and stakeholders to identify and prioritize analytics needs.
• Develop and deliver actionable analytics, ensuring data quality and relevance.
• Assess and recommend improvements for supply chain processes.
• Prepare and support reporting activities and presentations.
• Automate recurring reports and analytics processes to improve efficiency.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to stakeholders as required.
• Document analytics processes and maintain clear records for team use.

Your background

• Technical or commercial education with advanced training in supply chain or procurement
• 2+ years' experience in supply chain or materials management
• Proficient in SAP R/3, S/4HANA, IBP, and Business Warehouse
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI (nice to have)
• Good practical experience in the application of AI tools and technologies (nice to have)
• Experience in injection molding (nice to have)
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Independent, assertive, and disciplined with data
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Customer-focused, collaborative, flexible, and solution-oriented
