The Department Secretariat is the staff unit and service centre of the Department of the Interior. It is divided into the departments of Administration, Legal Service, Controlling and Digitalisation, Communication, Swisslos Fund, and the Chief Offices. It supports and advises the head of the department and performs cross-sectional tasks for the five offices of the department. For the Legal Service, we are looking for a lawyer, 60% at the Solothurn location from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement.
Your responsibilities
- You can expect a varied legal activity in the social sector of the departmental legal service.
- You will conduct administrative appeal procedures (especially in the area of social assistance) and handle supervisory complaints in the area of child and adult protection.
- Processing claims for damages in the area of child and adult protection and clarifying inquiries from various legal fields in the social sector are also among your core tasks.
- Furthermore, you will contribute to legislative and regulatory projects in the social sector.
Your profile
- You have a completed university degree in law and professional experience in the social sector (especially social assistance and/or child and adult protection). A lawyer’s licence and initial experience in legislation are advantageous.
- Analytical thinking, a high degree of independence, and the necessary flexibility for deployment in various areas are among your strengths.
- Resilience and a confident, target group-appropriate written expression characterise you.
- You have initiative, complete tasks accurately and efficiently, and appreciate working in a team.
