To ensure our production facilities can deliver top performance every day, a reliable supply of materials is essential. This is where you come in: With your organisational talent, technical understanding and sense of deadlines, you ensure that raw materials, operating supplies and technical components are available at the right place at the right time. In doing so, you make a decisive contribution to a smooth production process.

What to expect with us

• You procure raw, auxiliary and operating materials as well as technical items for maintenance, investments and projects of swisspor D-CH at home and abroad.
• You ensure that our production sites are always supplied with the necessary materials and avoid delivery bottlenecks.
• Together with the department heads, you plan and monitor stocks so that production can run smoothly.
• You obtain offers, compare quotations and clarify prices and conditions.
• You coordinate transports and customs formalities and always keep an eye on delivery dates and goods receipts.
• You recognise possible schedule or delivery deviations early and initiate the necessary measures.
• You check delivery documents, order confirmations and orders for their consistency.
• You create evaluations and statistics and support the team with administrative tasks.

What you bring with you

• You have a commercial basic education with a technical flair or a technical basic education with commercial further training.
• Ideally, you have already gained purchasing experience in a manufacturing company.
• You understand the connections between purchasing, warehousing and production and know how important timely material supply is for a trouble-free production process.
• You work independently, in a structured manner and keep an overview even in hectic situations.
• You think ahead, set priorities and act in a solution-oriented way.
• You have very good MS Office skills.
• Your German is confident in spoken and written form.
• Good English skills are important for international purchasing. Knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage.
• You communicate clearly, appear confident and maintain a professional approach with internal and external contacts.
