What to expect

• Support in the analysis, conception and implementation of complex projects in the field of Java-based server and web solutions
• Implementation of customer requirements within Java projects - from solution design through unit testing to deployment of components
• Collaboration on technical solution concepts as well as handling consulting mandates in the Java environment
• Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines

What you bring

• (Technical) university degree at FH/UNI level
• Several years of experience in implementing Java/Spring Boot-based solutions using REST, JPA and Hibernate
• Several years of experience with common development tools (Git, Maven, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes advantageous)
• Experience in applying best practices in software development (including unit testing, test-driven development, methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Ideally knowledge of web technologies such as Angular and React is desirable
• Analytical thinking and good communication skills in German and English
• Willingness to travel in the Bern metropolitan area
• Preferred: Experience with modern AI-supported development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar
