About the job
To support our sales team at the newly opened Cham location, we are looking for committed, humorous and motivated individuals as of 1 September 2026.
For our sales branch in Cham, we are seeking hosts who enjoy working with people and providing customers with an experience. With your positive charisma, you represent our foundation at the forefront. You passionately sell our baked goods and confectionery specialties, achieve exemplary customer loyalty, and carry out all related tasks in the branch. You support, accompany and promote our employees in the second labour market as well as our trainees and are willing to assist in other branches in case of staff shortages.
Your tasks:
- Independently managing a shift
- Active service and welcoming of customers
- Promoting independence, reliability and structure among employees in the second labour market
- Teaching simple work steps (e.g. cash register management, stocking bread, cleaning tables, packaging, washing up)
- Patient, respectful interaction with people with special needs
- Collaboration with social partners (support persons, etc.)
- Development & support in building a new branch concept
Your profile:
- Completed training in retail or gastronomy at EFZ level or equivalent experience in the food industry
- Initial experience in work pedagogy is an advantage
- Affinity for gastronomy
- Host/customer service passion
- Economic thinking and acting in the interest of the foundation
- Innovative and creative thinking
- Enjoyment in shaping something new
- Patience, resilience and humour
- High social competence, empathy and professional ability to set boundaries
- You identify with the values of the St. Jakob Foundation and live them daily
- Friendly and well-groomed appearance with sales and organisational talent
- Enjoyment in working with people from the second labour market
