To complement the team in the Security/Social sector, we are looking for the Social Counselling department for 1 January 2027 or by arrangement for a:

Caseworker Child and Adult Protection (80-100% workload fixed-term until 31 December 2029)

Main tasks:

Comprehensive commercial and administrative assistance for the social workers of Social Counselling Liestal working on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB)

Management of mandate-related accounting

Processing of mandate-related payment transactions

Preparation of regular invoices (for accountability reports) for the KESB

Appointment control and pending matters management

Communication with external specialist agencies, offices and authorities

Professional requirements:

Commercial training (commercial clerk EFZ)

Experience in child and adult protection

Knowledge of the relevant cantonal legislation

Good knowledge of MS Office

Knowledge of KLIB is an advantage

Personal requirements:

High sense of responsibility and loyalty

Teamwork skills, resilience

High communication skills and advisory competence

Confident German language skills

Independent, efficient and structured working
