Portrait of the School/Institution
At the Oberburg School, 350 children and adolescents are taught in 17 classes: 3 kindergarten classes, 9 primary classes, and five classes of secondary level 1. There are three parallel classes for two age groups: 1st/2nd grade; 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, 7th/8th grade. The two 9th classes are year classes.
In secondary level 1, the model 3b is implemented: Real and secondary school students are together in the class, and in the main subjects, they are taught separately according to their level.
The regular teachers are supported by teachers for integrative support.
The Oberburg School is an innovative school where traditions are maintained and new ideas are always welcome.
Throughout the school year, we conduct cross-grade events with the whole school, such as relay races, afternoon meetings, and theme days. Additionally, the 5th-9th grades have the OL, the snow sports camp, game afternoons, and a sports morning every year.
A good coexistence forms the basis for teaching and learning at the Oberburg School.
