The Thun Veterinary Clinic is a centre for small animal medicine and one of the largest clinics in Switzerland. In addition to general veterinary services, our clients also have access to specialists in surgery/orthopaedics, internal medicine, dermatology, cardiology, neurology, rehabilitation, etc. A motivated team of around 80 employees works daily for the concerns of our clients and their pets.

Veterinary Medicine Students on Night Duty (m/f/d)

You don’t just want to learn at night, but be right in the middle of it? You are keen on emergencies, clinical routine, and real responsibility instead of just watching? Then we have the perfect part-time job for you. For the Thun Veterinary Clinic, we are looking for veterinary medicine students from the 4th year onwards to regularly support us on night duty. The workload is flexible – perfectly combinable with rotations, exam periods, and university life.

What you will do with us at night:

Hospital rounds (approx. 22:00 & 00:00) during which medication is administered, dogs are taken outside, and kennels are cleaned

Monitoring hospitalised patients

Supporting veterinarians in emergencies

Reception of pet owners & admission of patients
