Role:
Attacks know no office hours, which is why platforms need to run at all times. In the role of Platform Engineer Cyber Defence Services, you keep the sensors alive on which modern detect and response services are based. Between operations, security, and automation, you find practical solutions rather than makeshift fixes. A well-coordinated team and short decision-making paths give you space to leave your mark.
Responsibilities:
You keep the cyber defence platforms stable in 7x24 operation and respond early to anomalies.
Incidents, changes, and releases pass through your hands in 1st and 2nd level support.
Furthermore, you continuously coordinate with customers, manufacturers, and adjacent departments.
You automate recurring processes and make the systems scalable.
Additionally, you expand monitoring, documentation, and lifecycle management.
You also share on-call duties proportionally.
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT education and have worked for several years in application management.
Operating and building IT services including automation are part of your daily routine.
You are familiar with endpoint security and vulnerability management tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
You are proficient in Linux as well as Windows Terminal Server.
Furthermore, you tackle topics independently, think service-oriented, and remain calm even under pressure.
You negotiate confidently in German and use English effortlessly in daily business.
