Workshop Manager for Integration

As the manager of the "Integration" workshop within the Etablissements de la plaine de l'Orbe (EPO), you provide individualised care for detainees who may suffer from psychiatric disorders, with the aim of reintegration under the best possible conditions. You ensure a structured and secure living environment for detainees, safeguarding their physical, moral, and emotional integrity.

• Provide individualised care for detainees and take special measures to promote their development and reintegration under the best conditions;

• Ensure the supervision, security, and monitoring of detainees working in the workshop and maintain discipline;

• Supervise daily individuals who may suffer from psychiatric disorders.

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) or an equivalent qualification;
• Holder of the federal detention officer certificate or committed to obtaining it during employment;
• Good mental and physical aptitude to manage sometimes difficult situations or conflicts while maintaining an appropriate professional distance;
• Good team management skills;
• Proficiency in French and common computer tools.

Our employment conditions require you to be Swiss or hold a C permit, free from debt enforcement orders (an extract from the Debt Collection Office must be presented during the process), and have a clean criminal record. There is a right to consult the criminal record in accordance with the Federal Act on the Criminal Record by the hiring authority for this position.
