IT Allrounder 60-80%

You support our IT manager in his role as the interface between the IT needs of all user groups in the school building and external service providers. Your area of responsibility includes everything from 1st-level support for computers/laptops, printers, projectors, and visualizers to participating in the conceptual further development of IT services and various projects, also in cooperation with cantonal authorities. This also includes deputizing for our IT manager as administrator of our school administration database. Our teachers and students work on their own computers (BYOD – bring your own device), so we require profound knowledge of the Mac operating system OSX as well as Windows skills. We operate a lean LAN and have no school-owned server systems.

We are looking for a reliable and open personality who enjoys working both in a team and independently and systematically.You see yourself as a service provider and in daily personal interaction with students and all staff, your positive nature and people skills are an advantage. High flexibility, quick comprehension, resilience, and enthusiasm characterize you.

We expect a completed training as an IT specialist and professional experience in this field, preferably in an educational institution. As an allrounder, you have broad know-how as a supporter for Apple and PC hardware and software.
