About the job
Chef/Cook Apprenticeship EFZThe basic training lasts three years. Vocational school lessons take place one day per week in Chur. Additionally, inter-company courses on various topics are conducted. Working hours in our kitchen are regular, mostly from 08:00 to 17:30. Working at least one
weekend per month is part of the job.
You will learn the production and preparation of food from economic and ecological
perspectives. You will become familiar with the use of modern work equipment and professional
kitchen technology. Later, you will develop menu proposals and ensure optimal
presentation of the dishes. Adhering to hygiene guidelines is a matter of course for you.
You attend secondary or intermediate school and have good grades in mathematics and German. You are creative, love working with food, and have a good sense of smell and taste. Working in a team and contact with elderly people bring you joy.
You can expect a varied and interesting training period in a small, family-like team. Get to know us during taster days. We look forward to meeting you!
