Presentation
The Dean's Office of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine (FBM) is responsible for organizing and managing all faculty activities. The faculty is composed of two sections: Clinical Sciences (SSC) and Fundamental Sciences (SSF), structured into 10 departments.
The Dean's Office defines and implements faculty policy to meet its objectives in research, teaching, and academic development.
As part of a replacement due to the departure of the current holder, the FBM Dean's Office is advertising the position of:

Your Activities
In a demanding and constantly evolving academic environment, you directly contribute to governance, organizational efficiency, and the deployment of the Faculty's institutional priorities.
Reporting to the FBM Administrator, you assist her in the administrative and operational management of the Dean's Office and the Faculty. You play a central role in the smooth functioning of faculty bodies, structuring internal processes, quality assurance, and administrative coordination, particularly for the Fundamental Sciences Section (SSF).
At the interface between decision-making bodies, the Dean's Office departments, and the departments, you contribute to the coherence, fluidity, and effectiveness of faculty action.
The position notably includes the following tasks:
- Supporting the Administrator in defining and implementing the Dean's Office administrative strategy
- Autonomously managing the organization and responsibility of the general secretariat and the Faculty chancery
- Organizing and coordinating meetings of the Dean's Office and Faculty Council and supervising the operational activities of deputies following decisions made
- Ensuring the drafting of strategic documents, analyses, and summaries on behalf of the Dean and the Administrator
- Supporting the Dean's Office in faculty strategy regarding quality assurance
- Assuming the role of administrative referent for the Dean's Office for the Fundamental Sciences Section
Your Profile
You hold a university master's degree complemented by training in public administration, management, or project management.
You have proven professional experience in a management staff, a general secretariat, or an equivalent function. Experience in administrative coordination in a university environment is a significant asset.
You enjoy contact and are comfortable in human relations. You have a high sense of responsibility, demonstrate stress resistance, and absolute discretion.
You demonstrate:
- A strategic vision and excellent analytical and synthesis skills
- A proven ability to work transversally within a complex institutional environment
- Strong writing skills
- Proven skills in organization and project management
- A keen political sensitivity and good diplomacy
- A good level of English, both spoken and written
Flexibility and availability are required; regular presence on the Faculty's various sites as well as at institutional meetings is expected.
