Cyber Security Engineer (m/f)

Your area of responsibility

• You develop, plan and implement state-of-the-art cyber security solutions and put them into operation directly with our customers
• You create and present well-thought-out security and solution concepts and implement them in reality with innovative technologies
• You are a competent advisor in the field of cyber security and convince our customers with your expertise
• You support and advise our sales team in the preparation of offers and actively participate in the presales phase to offer customised solutions
• You contribute your expertise to our company and make a significant contribution to the further development of our cyber security services and solutions with your creative and innovative ideas
• You take responsibility in the on-call and standby service (approx. 5 weeks per year) and ensure maximum security for our customers
• You work situationally with our CSIRT and operations team and support them with your sound know-how

Your profile

• You have a higher education (HF, FH, Uni/ETH) in computer science or a comparable qualification
• You bring several years of experience in the cyber security environment and also have solid knowledge in the field of networking
• You have in-depth knowledge of the products and technologies of leading manufacturers, especially Check Point. Knowledge of Fortinet, F5 or Cisco is an advantage.
• Cyber security solutions inspire you and you have corresponding manufacturer or general security certifications, or are motivated to acquire them
• You see further training as an opportunity and want to develop continuously
• In your role as a cyber security expert, you feel comfortable, and presentations to customers or at events are an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge
• You are a service-oriented team player with initiative
• You are used to working on several projects in parallel and keeping an overview
• New technologies fascinate you, and you enjoy working your way into new topics
• You approach your tasks in an organised and independent manner and realise projects efficiently and at a high level
• You understand Swiss German, have very good German skills (C1/C2) and very good English skills, both spoken and written
• You hold a category B driving licence and are flexible for our deployment locations in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
