 Global Account Project Manager 

We at VAT Group AG, headquartered in Haag - Switzerland, invite a both talented and passionate Project Manager to join our SEMI ( Semiconductors ) Business Unit. We are expanding our Project Management team and want you to help us shape the future of product development at VAT. We offer an interesting, responsible, and diversified position in an international environment. YOUR CHALLENGES

•  Lead and manage cross-functional project teams within a matrix organization structure.
• Translate customer needs into impactful project outcomes that directly contribute to technological advancement.
• Take an overarching role in coordinating and ensuring transparency across the entire account project portfolio.
• Create and maintain an innovative working environment that encourages teamwork, learning agility, and individual contributions.
• Facilitate effective collaboration among team members from different business units and locations, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the global accounts.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to regularly reflect on their processes and outcomes and implement improvements accordingly.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the success of the product development process, ensuring that the team is proactive in addressing challenges.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical or Mechatronics); other degrees will be considered based on experience. An advanced degree is preferred (MSc, PhD, or MBA).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager with hands-on mentality, preferably in a global matrix organization - while demonstrating strong ownership and high degree of autonomy.
• Broad entrepreneurial profile with affinity to technical, supply, marketing, and quality topics.
• Strong adaptive communication skills to structure and influence discussions within the team as well as senior management and customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS365, DevOps, Project Management Software, and demonstrated ability to learn other business software.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• Willing to travel (approx. 5%).
• Work experience in vacuum technology / semiconductors beneficial.
